Several months ago we changed all our shower heads to the ones with the head that detaches
The only problem was the shower caddy things we had were the ones made for shower heads that don’t detach from the wall.
While in Home Depot the other day I was wandering around the bathroom area looking for a new drain part to the downstairs bathroom sink. I saw this caddy that was made for the removable hose/head so I grabbed it and it works so great! If any of you have the hose that comes down the middle and need a caddy, this one is great – hangs securely, holds the things I need it to hold.
We still have the thing on the wall that has shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
This picture is from the downstairs shower. There are a few more things in the upstairs shower but for the most part, we’ve still been sleeping in the basement since both dogs sleep down there, so we’ve been taking showers in the basement.
So glad I found this thing that works with that hose.

I worry about the weight of those things on the pipe, as mine is always pretty full. I have a really nice large one that went on the floor, but it took too much space. My hubby ended up putting it up on the wall, with the hanger just above the tile, so it hangs away from where I am but easy to get to, can wash tiles behind the unit easily and the weight doesn’t matter. He even put a washer on it so that it can’t come off the hook easily…from the weight of shampoo, etc, when lifting out. Works great and doesn’t get a film of soap from the floor anymore.

I don’t keep a lot of weight in mine because I have this thing on the wall and it has my shampoo, body wash and conditioner in it. The two body washes in the shower caddy are the ones Chad & Nicole use when they’re here. I mostly keep a bar of soap, razor, scrubby and my the face cleanser in the caddy.
But, I’ve used those things forever and have never had a problem with the pipe . . not to say that tomorrow the pipe may have a problem but we were in Texas over nine years, which is the longest we’ve been anywhere, and, it was fine.
I just asked Vince and he said so long as it sits back near the wall and not near the shower head end, it shouldn’t be a problem.
