When I was in Louisiana a few weeks ago, my brother-in-law was telling me about a gravy mix he uses. It’s made by Louisiana Crawfish Man. I think he makes his gravy as usual and then adds a “a couple of teaspoons” of the mix to the gravy. Here’s what he said: “You only need a couple of teaspoons. Read directions and put a lil extra for lagniappe.”
Most of my Louisiana friends who have used it say it’s spicy so i’m not going to try it while Addie is here but I can’t wait to try it. I think I ordered 10 packets of gravy mix and four bottles of “King Gravy”. I’ll share that with Chad.
My sister and brother-in-law live in cajun country and they’re both excellent cooks so I know it will be good. I was telling Vince today that I could drink gravy out of a cup with a straw and be quite happy. I won’t . . but I could!

My daddy made the best white gravy you have ever tasted. Never lumpy, always perfect! He taught my sister how to make it but I never got the hang of it! LOL
