Yesterday as I was going through project bags, I came across this piece.
The wayit was folded in the bag, I could see the letters but I wasn’t sure what it was. I pulled it out and looked at it and kinda felt like that guy who was really impressed with his wife when he woke up from anesthesia and didn’t know she was his wife.
I kept looking at it and thinking . . WOW! I did a great job stitching that. It really does look nice! It almost looks like a better stitcher stitched it! The chart is Forever & Ever by With Thy Needle and Thread (Brenda Gervais). I’m going to keep this one out and work on it some this month because it will count as a WIPGO project because it’s a 2022 start (Vince’s birthday month start).
I’m thinking about making an executive decision about WIPGO this month. I may go ahead and work 20 hours on this one twice or I may work 20 hours on this one and 20 hours on Thy Love Divine and then when either of these two pop up again, work on Heaven & Nature Sing, which is supposed to be one of the projects for this month.
My hope, and yet my fear, is that I may become a monogamous stitcher and want to start a project and stick with it til it’s finished. I’m having such a hard time putting aside these projects and moving onto the next one. Time will tell.

That looks fantastic! That border is going to be so pretty. I would have a hard time doing WIPGO – having to put down or work on a specific project on a schedule. I’m much better flitting from project to project when the mood strikes.(you know I’m not very good at following rules – even if they are rules I make up myself!) 🙂

I am curious why you would be afraid of becoming a monogamous stitcher? I guess I shouldn’t ask because I would go crazy if I had to swap stuff out according to the WIpgo chart. WIPGO doesn’t work very well with only 1 project on the go, also makes for a very boring Book of Days. LOL Each to their own I guess. I love my current project Moggie Manor by The Blue Flower and can’t wait to pick it up each day.

That’s just a saying “I’m afraid I’m fixing to stop liking Dr. Pepper.” (not really)

Haha monogamous stitcher! I am way to much of a squirrel to have to worry about that?. Beautiful stitching!

Isn’t that funny. Denise and I do the same thing. I guess we’ll start finishing each other’s sentences soon. 🙂
