I didn’t knit at all in the car on the way to Louisiana. I didn’t knit at all while there but I did knit a bit on the way home yesterday.
This is the Panic Sweater by Casapinka. I usually knit using the Knit Companion app on my iPad but, thankfully, I printed a copy and took it with me.
I left an entire bag at home. The bag had my curling iron, all my makeup, hand and body lotions, shampoo, toothbrush, tooth paste, AND the charging cord for the iPad.
Nicole let me use her curling iron and a bit of her makeup. I had a few things that stay in my purse. Luckily, I had a new toothbrush from my dentist in my purse!
Addie was picking up some things and saw the printed pattern and asked me if I could make her one of those sweaters. She rarely wants anything I’ve made so I was thrilled that she asked. She said she probably wanted pink, or red, or blue or maybe teal. I told her when she’s here next, we’ll do some stash diving and see what we come up with.
There are no child sizes on the pattern but I’ll use a smaller year and do a bit of math and get it to work for her.
It made me happy that she wants me to make her a sweater.

She misses all those things you used to knit for her!
