It’s still a couple of weeks before I can plant most plants but I think I have almost everything I need to plant. My 4 x 8 beds are planted already. Asparagus stays in one. I planted sugar snap peas in one and they’ve come up nicely. Today I planted garlic in the third one.
I have three 4 x 4 beds. One has strawberries. Two are not planted. I’m not sure what I’ll plant in those two beds.
All the potatoes are planted. The ginger, turmeric, horseradish are all planted. All of those things are in grow bags.
I’ll plant tomatoes, brussels sprouts, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, eggplant, yellow squash and zucchini in 5 gallon buckets and 5 gallon grow bags.
The gallon milk container that had carrots in it got knocked over by someone or something so I need to replant those carrots. Meant to do it yesterday. The radishes and lettuce are already sprouted and looking good.
I’m so ready to have everything planted and be able to sit back and watch it grow! This is always such an exciting time for me.

Judy, there you go again inspiring me. Yesterday it was the radishes. I have turned the milk and water jugs in for recycling, but I had some potting soil and two large pots waiting til after frost for squash. It will be mid June before I can plant squash here in NH. So those now have Bok Choi and radishes in them. The garlic was planted last fall, so that’s all good and peas went in the keyhole garden We made 5 or 6 years ago after you introduced me to them. I am so glad you post so often and on things dear to my heart: sewing, gardening, family, cooking. Thanks for sharing the good life!!!
