Today it has been 6 weeks since we got Oscar. It’s hard to believe this is how he looked six weeks ago.
Speck spent half his time stretched out on my legs while I was sitting in the recliner knitting or quilting
Tonight is the first time Oscar has ever sat like this and he’s been on my lap for over an hour. I haven’t tried to cross stitch . . I’m just enjoying having him being still and getting to pet him with him biting and chewing on my clothes and the furniture.
This gives me hope that he is growing up and some day I’ll be able to hold him and love on him without all the chewing and biting we’ve experienced for the past six weeks. I am not about to disturb him. He can sit here as long as he wants. I’ll be quite happy when all this puppy chewing and biting is over . . though I know we have quite a while left before him sleeping on my lap is the norm.

He seems to love having his picture taken.

Just love his big buttons down his back! oh enjoy the calm before the storm !!! How he has grown, I think he will have a very expressive face. Just wished i could give him cuddles, though my 2 do keep me busy.

How sweet is this! He is one lucky dog! And he is growing up too fast.

Just like a child…angelic when they sleep! I always tell young mothers to watch their babies sleep…they are always so precious! Oscar is so cute!
