Cranberry Christmas – Finished

This was my 6th finish for 2022.

The cardinal is the mascot for all the schools in our town. The elementary school down the road has the sign “Where little cardinals learn to fly”. I’m always telling Addie that her parents need to move here so she can be a little cardinal and it makes her so mad. They’re the tigers and she always tells me tigers are better than cardinals.

When I showed her this piece, I said “I know you’re going to love this and want it but I love and want it too. You can have it at some point but I want to keep it for a while. She kinda smirked and said “If you cut the bottom off, I’d take it!”

I don’t think she’s going to be too happy when I stitch all the pieces for my cardinal wall. 🙂
