Yesterday Oscar would play like normal but for shorter periods and then he’d sleep about twice as long as normal. Today I think he’s back to how he was before the vaccines.
We laugh at him, have fun playing with him, but he still wears us out. We’re still very glad we got him. I can’t wait til he’ll sit on my lap or next to me in the chair and sleep while I stitch . . without chewing my arm off, or tearing my linen or grabbing my thread after each stitch! It will happen . . but we have a ways to go before that happens.
Yesterday Vince and I decided that Oscar thinks Boots is a big, stuffed toy that moves and Oscar wants to treat Boots like he treats his stuffed toys. We throw them; Oscar runs and gets them and brings them back to us. He chases Boots any time he can. Boots is a good sport and gets up where Oscar can’t reach him, which means Oscar barks and barks, wanting us to grab the big cat toy and put him down so Oscar can play. Crazy dog. We’re lucky Boots is such a good sport.

So glad to hear Oscar is doing better! I haven’t mentioned this before but I’ve been having trouble reading and commenting on your blog. With Safari I can read one post and have to close the browser before I can read another post. When I switch to Chrome to read your blog, I don’t have issues reading but sometimes have trouble commenting. I’ll make a comment and it never shows. Maybe it’s just me but wondered if anyone else has had issues. Just thought I’d let you know in case it’s just not me.

I will send your comment to the lady who helps with maintenance and see if she has any solutions. Sorry.
