The cookbook from the Needlework Market in Nashville arrived yesterday. I haven’t really looked through it but I did see that Teresa Kogut has a recipe in there that was her aunt’s recipe and she has a picture of her aunt and a man who is probably her uncle. It may even say on the caption but I haven’t paid that much attention yet.
Anyway, I had the same sweater as Teresa Kogut’s aunt is wearing. I loved that sweater!
I figured designers would put submit really amazing recipes so I can’t wait to look through it.
I had not ordered anything from market yet (but I have now) and one night I was in bed and someone mentioned on Facebook something about the cookbook. I never knew there was a cookbook and there has been at least the last few years. I went to my favorite Etsy shops and they were already sold out. My phone doesn’t have any of my credit card info on it and I don’t know my paypal log in or password so I slipped out of bed, went to the computer, did a bit of searching, found the cookbook, ordered it and it arrived yesterday – before anything else I had ordered arrive.
I did see that the Fox & Rabbit guy has the first recipe in there and it looks amazing – something with chicken wings and I had a package of chicken wings in the freezer. I took those out and will make his recipe today . . if I continue to feel good.
I’m telling you – whatever I’ve had has been rough. Tuesday I went to the doctor. Wednesday I thought I might feel better. Thursday I felt bad. Friday, I felt so bad and hardly got out of bed so before noon, Vince called the doctor and talked to the nurse. She talked to the doctor and he called and told Vince he’d give me different meds so Vince drove to the doctor’s office, even though we had a couple of inches of snow on the ground, and picked up the new meds. I probably was not awake more than about 2 hours yesterday. I’ve already beat that for today so hopefully I’m on the road to recovery.
And, a couple of inches of snow on the roads wasn’t a big deal but normally, we don’t go out at all when there’s snow. I think Vince was getting concerned about me.
