Vince figured out how to wear Oscar down without both of us being exhausted. Vince takes the blue man and tosses him across the room. Oscar runs and gets him and Vince has taught Oscar to bring him back. Sometimes Oscar can’t find him so Vince picks Oscar up so he’s higher and shows him where blue man is, then Oscar runs and gets him and brings him back to Vince.
I am so happy to see how much Vince likes him and plays with him. That “dachshund” look . . with the whites in his eyes showing. He’s so funny.

…He is a such cute baby. It’s great that Vince has gotten attached to him too. I’ve wanted a small dog for a long time and especially now.

He’s really been an easy puppy except for the teeth and the energy level. He’s doing so good with potty training. He will go when I take him out and tell him to go. He doesn’t go in his crate but . . if he gets the urge in the house, he will go and not tell me he has to go outside but we’re working on that. I take him out at least every hour and a half so we haven’t had any accidents in over a week. One of us is with him at all times or he’s in his crate. He doesn’t a miss a thing – especially something he can get into so he’s like a full time job! But this will pass and some day he will be a sleeping, loving, loyal dog.

It’s called “Stink Eye”! And boy do Dachshunds know how to do that. Judy, I just sent my 19 year old blind red Pie Bald over to the Bridge on Monday.

Oh, Cilla! I know that was hard to do but he is whole again. Makes me sad but you know it was the right thing to do. Sorry for you.

He is a cutie!! I just love the stories you tell. So glad Vince is taking to him also. I think Vince knew he would do this and was afraid something would happen.

My daughter trained her dogs to “nose” the jingle bell when they wanted to go out, it hangs from her door knob. Works like a charm.
