The challenge for the Winter Cross Stitch Camp, sponsored by Colorado Cross Stitcher, was to start and finish a project during February and the project had to use one color of floss. I chose ABCD by La-D-Da.
I made a few changes. There were some diamonds above and below the horizontal lines in the bottom row of leaves. They were a bit offset from each other and to me, that looked unbalanced. There was also a diamond in the very center with some stitching below but I chose to put the year in that center opening, and add my initials on the right side instead of the diamonds that were to be stitched there.
It’s a simple little piece and it was quick to stitch.
I’ll get a frame ordered, get it finished and on the wall.

Sweet piece. Your changes balance it all out perfectly.

I love this so much! I like the addition of the year and your initials. It reminds me I should go put my initials on my Alphabet En Blanc.
