We left about mid-morning to go shopping for toys and a new crate for Oscar. The first stop was Atwoods and that stop could easily have resulted in trouble . . had I not been the mature, easy to get along with adult that I am. 🙂
We walked in and headed towards the pet area and immediately . . I heard wee little peeps. I looked at Vince and said “Do you hear what I hear?”
Two different kinds and they were so cute!
Vince looked at me and I knew what he was thinking . . you’re getting a dog . . what more do you want? Well . . maybe chickens! 🙂 I didn’t say anything and walked away. Ugly situation avoided!
Every place we went was packed! People have been shut up in the house for several days. Schools have been closed and everyone seemed to need to get out. The main roads were clear but the parking lots and side roads were a mess.
All the vehicles were covered in icicles. I looked at our car and said “Wait! This car has been in the garage for a week. Why does it have icicles?” Vince said . . well, it’s 20 degrees and we’ve driven through water. It was cold!
I’m glad to be back home and the next time we leave the house will be to go get Oscar!
