Yesterday when I got to a good stopping point on the sample, I put it down because I didn’t want to send it off with partial motifs stitched.
I picked up Noel Sampler – which is my WIPGO project for February. I have 7 days left in February and have to get in 28 more hours on this project. Can I do it? I’ll give it my best shot. Once I get to the house, I could about stitch 28 hours on it without stopping.
I don’t know if I can stitch 10 hours today – that’s my goal. That will leave just a few hours to get the goal met for one of the numbers, then I can work to try to get hours done for the other number.
I’ve mentioned this earlier when I worked on it – I’m going to be really surprised if this is 40 count linen. I’ve worked on 40 count almost exclusively for the last few months and this one is just so tight. I am struggling to see the holes and the stitches are so tiny. I could get my handy tool out for measuring but at this point, it doesn’t matter. Once I make it all the way across the piece, I can measure and figure it out the backwards way.
Today my plan is to stitch NOEL in the box, the stitch the snowflakes to the right of the box and then I can start on the house.
