The Market Piece for Teresa Kogut

Y’all aren’t going to believe how cute this piece is when you see it. It’s so hard for me not to share what I’m working on. It isn’t going to be nearly finished but I’ve made some decent progress and I’ll send it to her next week. She needs it for Friday and I was going to overnight it to her on Wednesday but now we have snow and ice predicted again for Wednesday and Thursday so I’ll send it Tuesday just to be sure she gets it in time for Market in Nashville.

Here’s the funny thing. I showed it to Addie. She got these awful “blue light” glasses that are supposed to protect your eyes from blue lights but Addie likes to wear them. Chad and Nicole seem to be wearing glasses more than contacts lately so Addie feels like she needs them too.

Anyway, I showed her what I was working on. She jumped up from the sofa and walked over to me. I showed it to her again. She pulled her glasses off and looked at it again and said “I HAVE to have that for my room!”

Well, sweet girl . . I wanted it for my house! But, if she wants it, she can have it. I can always stitch another one but I probably won’t. It makes me happy that she loved it but honestly, Teresa Kogut hit this one out of the park .. everyone is going to love it.
