Today Vince and I were talking and I was talking about how funny Chad can be. I said “Remember how he would always measure his room when we moved to a new location?” He kept little pieces of graph paper for his bed, his chest, nightstand and desk. He would sketch out his room on graph paper, then place every piece of graph paper furniture, right down to the trash can, where he wanted it to be. Then, when the furniture arrived, he knew exactly where to put it.
Vince: You do the exact same thing? How can you laugh at Chad for doing that?
Me: I guess I do.
Vince: He picked up all your bad habits and none of your good habits.
Me: WOW! It almost sounds like you’re saying I have some good habits!
Vince: I caught myself mid-sentence, realized I was saying the wrong thing but it was too late to stop.
I get no respect. 🙂
