Today was easier than yesterday and much, much easier than Monday. This isn’t bad at all. I’m loving not feeling like I should get up and clean bathrooms or dust the furniture or bake cookies. I’m just sitting and cross stitching and oh . . how I’ve cross stitched! In the past two days I’ve stitched about 1,700 stitches. I’m taking time to do some hand exercises so my hands don’t start aching.
Vince left about 8:30 this morning to go to the dentist. He ran by Aldi and Hobby Lobby, but the longest stop was the pallet store. He finds so many “treasures”. He bought a double decker soap dish that attached to the shower wall by suction. We actually needed that. He bought another brush for Boots. I think that’s the fourth cat brush we have. We need another cat! He bought some kind of battery operated gizmo to open jar lids. I hope it works as they say it will.
I’m sure I didn’t see everything he bought and that’s fine. He picked up BBQ and brought it home for a late lunch so, once again . . I didn’t cook. He’s sure he’s staying home all day tomorrow .. we’ll see. The weather is supposed to be sunny and fairly warm so if he gets started working outside, he may stay home. We’re having soup and something . . maybe a sandwich, maybe the bacon wrapped scallops .. I’ll figure it out tomorrow.
Our recliners downstairs are touching. In fact, I have to squeeze my hand down between the two so I can use the lever to put mine up and down. Vince was sitting in his . . 2″ from me, and he kept snoring. I would say “Vince . . go to bed if you’re going to sleep!” He would say “I’m not sleeping!” After about the fourth time, I said “I’m to go upstairs and walk on the floor and sit in my chair if you don’t stop snoring.” He said “Do you want to go in the sewing room and stitch?” I said “No, I’m doing this project for a picture for a chart that’s for sale and I don’t want cat hair all over it.” So, he decided he’d go sit in the recliner in the sewing room and sleep so he and Boots took about a two hour nap. I’m not sure how long he slept but he was in there about two hours.
We’re going to carry some clothes up tomorrow . . around the side of the house and through the garage so as not to get on the floor . . and do some laundry because on Friday, it’s supposed to get cold and maybe rain (or is it rain and maybe get cold?) . . I can’t remember.
OK . . last report from the basement for today. I’m going to bed way early tonight.
