Plans are meant to be changed, right?
Yesterday a designer that I love sent out a note about an exclusive she’s going to have at the Nashville Market in March. She was just showing it to us . . not asking for help. She said there was no way this could get stitched before then but I started thinking about it. I’m stuck in the basement, little housekeeping, not much distractions since I can’t go upstairs, maybe I could get it done. I wrote her and said “not promising but I’ll try if you want me to”. She was delighted.
I’m not going to show it here as I’m working on it but I started stitching it yesterday. Here’s the fabric and floss.
There are a couple of colors that may change (the peach/pink near the right side). I’m missing one skein so I had to order it. That doesn’t count! 🙂
After seeing that video that I shared Sunday night, I’m determined to make my backs look neater.
Today was busy with this project but not a lot of stitching. The designer asked if I had a certain linen in 40 count. I was so happy I had it because there’s not time to order it. That’s the value of having a nice stash. Also, I had all the floss except one skein.
I spent a lot of time finding the fabric, measuring off what I needed, cutting and serging it, pulling the floss, taking pictures of different floss options to send to the designer. Getting the pdf into Pattern Keeper.
Hopefully I can get this done in time but expectations are not very high – a lot of stitching in a little time.
I do still want to get my WIPGO goal met, I do still want to finish the Winter Camp piece and I will still make the scheduled start for G. Leger. I will not cook. I will not clean. I will not sleep. 🙂

Judy, this sounds like a lot of fun… except keeping the back neat. 🙂 That video was amazing.

Hopefully you’ll be able to fit in some time for sleeping! Sounds like a fun challenge.

Looking forward to hearing more about this project when you’re able!
