This morning Vince looked at the side road and declared the roads appeared to be safe for traveling. “Do you care if I go to town?” I know he was just asking to be nice because he knows I’m happy for him to do whatever he wants to do and most happy for a few minutes of alone time.
He asked if I needed anything from Walmart so I guess he’s going there too. I always start an online list as soon as one order is delivered and then, at some point there’s something I add that I need soon so I hit the “send” button at that point. I just copied everything off the Walmart list and handed it to him.
Remember that he bought himself a birthday present last week? He called after he left and he bought himself another birthday present. It’s over a month til his birthday . . he’s having fun!
Well . . this is weird. Before I finished the blog post, he was back. He wasn’t gone much more than an hour . . maybe two hours. I said “I figured you’d go to the pallet store” and he said no . . maybe tomorrow.
He fixed himself a sandwich then decided he would go ahead and go to the pallet store.
Here’s a funny story. The other day he saw our neighbor in Aldi. She looked at him, surprised to see him there and said “You have to do the grocery shopping TOO?” Yes, Vince HAS to go to the grocery store TOO. It’s a tough life that man lives. 🙂

I bet that’s exactly what it is.

My husband doesn’t like shopping, but does the grocery shopping. It’s the price he pays for using the good car every day.
