Thy Love Divine is #2 on my WIPGO board so I was supposed to spend 20 hours on it in January. I did. But . . it wasn’t all forward progress.
Yellow means goal met. Green means number called for the current month (which is February because the numbers are called on the 27th).
As far as Thy Love Divine, I did work 22 hours on it but I decided to pick out the lower border. I had not done all the extra stitching on it because I wasn’t sure about it.
I started this in April, 2021 – I was very new to cross stitching, had only started three months before. I added an extra space at the top between the orange/brown stitching and the purple border. I don’t remember why. I think I was planning on adding extra stitches on all borders but I got to the side border, I was afraid I couldn’t do it correctly so I left it as it was. I probably intended to add extra stitches at the bottom and forgot.
Adding the extra row of space at the top means I would need to add an extra row at the bottom, which means I would need two extra rows of space at the bottom – because I started one row lower, that means I need an extra row and because I want the top and bottom to match, I need an extra row. It will be an easy adjustment to make and not many stitches to take out.
I went ahead and worked down to the bottom of the rice stitching rows, now I can stitch the bottom purple border, then count the spaces and know where curvy border should be spaced.
I’m not planning to work on this in February so I’m going to put it away for now.

Should you write yourself a note about moving the bottom border? When you get back to it, you might remember taking one out, but not why!

I should have back then and nowadays, I do because I keep a journal of all projects but back then, I probably had hopes I would remember. I will remember this time because I’m going to work my way down and then count spaces and see exactly where it needs to be.
