I almost feel like I cheated because I used three lengths yesterday.
I am so ready to get to the next row of alphabets/fonts. It’s a pretty, curvy, cursive looking font.
There’s still a motif to stitch to the right of the Z but I didn’t want to start the next row of alphabet til I had that horizontal line stitched . . just to be sure I get everything spaced correctly. It too three lengths to stitch that line and I was afraid I wasn’t going to make it with a fourth length but I did.
I’ll probably stitch letters a few days, then go back and stitch the motif. The letters will be stitched in the darker red – the same red that was used for the boxy letters. All of the letters in this first part are stitched with that same darker red.
I’m using the charts from The Gift of Stitching magazine and there were five or six parts so my chart isn’t set up quite like the newer purchased chart but it should all end up the same in the end.
That’s it . . didn’t stitch on anything else.
Today I really have to get back to Thy Love Divine. Addie will probably go home Saturday so next week I’ll be back on my regular schedule – nothing but stitching and cooking and a bit of cleaning every now and then.

That is so funny, you cheated by doing more? I have to admit there must have been something in the air yesterday because I did more than one on mine too. When I finished my one length there was a large (maybe 10 or 12 stitches) where I had only done the first half stitch and it just bothered me so I cut a a smaller length and finished those and then continued until that length was done. I am using Sulky so I could pick how long my length was and I did one that was about 1/2 the normal size. I am really liking the Sulky and my do my Cross stitch camp project using it as well.

I’ve stitched a couple of things using Sulky and I like it too.

I hate to say I didn’t stitch on this at all yesterday. I am hoping to do one maybe two threads today! I was thinking of taking it with me today when I accompanied my son to his various appointments. I took Love of Nature instead and was glad I did cause I forgot to bring magnification and though I managed with the 18 count Aida, there was no way I was going to be able to do the linen! lol

When Vince had a procedure done at the hospital, I knew the lights in the room would be ok so I took something on 32 count linen (the Valentine stocking) and some 4.0 readers and I was able to see enough to stitch, though I wouldn’t want to do it every day.
How are are you on Love of Nature?
