I’m such a bad girl. I cannot follow rules . . even my own, but I do try!
You already know how my day went. I woke up wanting to stitch but knew I needed to make a real breakfast so I did. Then I cleaned up the kitchen, did a few things around the house, then we worked in the closet a bit and just when I was ready to start stitching, Vince was ready to work on the mixer. It went downhill from there.
The Georgia/Alabama game was about to start so Vince went downstairs. I was trying to decide . . do I start on WIP #2 for WIPGO; do I pull out another UFO . . I knew I shouldn’t start a new project because I have the redwork starting January 15 and the G. Leger starting February 14.
I had been thinking about that all day and what I really wanted to stitch was more on Eliza Stone so . . Vince went down to watch the game and I grabbed Eliza out of her project bag.
This is where I stopped Sunday night.
Here’s where I left off last night:
All I have left to do is stitch out the word “ceasing”. I was thinking about stitching (I always want to say “typing”) the scripture reference, which is 1 Thessalonians 5:17 but I’d have to create the chart, even though it’s just a few letters/numbers, then stitch it so . . I probably won’t do that.
Then I have to do the bottom checkerboard border (just like the side borders), bring the sides down to meet the bottom, fill in those half borders in two places and I’ll be done. I could finish this today!
Then I’ll decide what to do for my next Sunday Stitches. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be Cranberry Christmas. This weekend is going to be a bit of a problem because Friday – Sunday is WIPGO weekend, when I should be working on WIPGO projects but the 15th is the day I’m starting the redwork project and Sunday is Sunday Stitches day. I’ll just do what I can do!

You’re almost done!! I saw a comment on another post about one of your letters not being the same as the chart and I can’t even tell. That tells you how much attention I pay to the chart! lol I take it you are not including the checked lines on either side of the capital script letters? I will have to include another line on mine since I want my name on one line and my son’s on the lower line. I still want to include “Pray without ceasing” so I hope I remembered to include enough fabric!

That is looking so great. OH Cranberry Christmas – that is on my must make soon list. I love that chart and keep pulling it out and putting it back telling myself I can’t start it yet.

-Just nosy: Why is this WIPGO weekend? It seems to me that you have been working a LOT on your WIP.

The WIPGO group sets one weekend per month as WIPGO weekend. I have only worked on one WIPGO project. There are two per month. No one keeps up with who works on it and who doesn’t but I’d like to at least start the year off spending time on it but . . the 15th is the day we start the one strand project and then Sunday is Sunday stitches so . . w’ell see how it goes.
