I got way more done than I had expected to get done. Here’s where I left off Saturday (because I stitched Saturday and Sunday on it).
Yesterday I finished both rows of lower case letters, started on the border that goes from the Z towards the right hand edge, stitched the plain row beneath the lower case letters and started on the next row, which has Eliza M. Stone’s name and age.
Beneath her name, the chart shows the school in which she attended. I’m not going to stitch that row. Then beneath that, there’s a row that will say “Pray without ceasing”. Then . . the bottom border! I’ll have to go back and fill in some of the stitching between the rows but this one could easily be finished next weekend. It’s going to be hard not to pick it up and work on it since I’m so close to having my first finish of the new year! But, I have a schedule and I’m going to try to stick with it.

When I was stitching the lower partial border that goes between the capital letters I didn’t take note of the fact that they aren’t on the same line all the way across. The one on the right should be lower and I didn’t do that. I decided not to go back and fix it…lol I’ll be putting my name instead of Eliza’s and my son’s name under mine. It’ll be awhile before I’m done but it will be nice to have a finish!!

I did notice that but that would bother me greatly so I’m not doing it. I have a couple of mistakes that I decided I wasn’t fixing (my W in the row above the lower case letters is wonky but I didn’t notice it til I was way past that).

Looking good! I couldn’t tell about the W being wonky even after you mentioned it.

I like my “W” better than theirs but I wouldn’t normally change something like that except I made a mistake and decided I’d live with it.
