For anyone planning to stitch G. Leger, you should watch Country Stitchers’ January 7 video. Deb has finished stitching hers and she “stained” it to look more like the one shown on the cover of the chart/pattern. The G. Leger part starts around 10:00 and oh, my . . seeing hers wants me to start mine today. That is so pretty.
I almost didn’t put G. Leger on my list because it seems too “fancy” for our decor (what decor??) <G> but every time I see one that someone has finished, I can’t stop looking at it. I keep looking at our walls and trying to think where I would put that one. I may put it in the dining room. It’s so pretty, I might just move it from room to room with me. In the dining room during the day; in the bedroom at night.
I really can’t wait to start it.
Reflets de Soie is the designer for G. Leger, as well as Elle Brode en Lettres Carmin that I’m doing for redwork. That chart happens to be sold out right now at Colorado Cross Stitcher. It is still available at Kitten Stitcher if anyone still wants to buy it.

I am about half way through it. A fun stitch. Doing it in silk which really makes it pop. I encourage folks to use silk for this one.
