This one is Heaven & Nature Sing by Kathy Barrick. My goal on all my WIPGO projects is 20 hours each month they’re called.
Yesterday I stitched 4.5 hours.
That’s over 400 stitches. It doesn’t look like that many – probably close to 500. I’m trying to take my time and make my stitches really neat. Interruptions slow me down tremendously. Even though I stop and re-start the stopwatch, just getting my rhythm going again after stopping takes a few stitches.
I suppose it’s always going to be this way – I think I won’t have any thing I have to do today and then there are so many things. Yesterday, I thought I was going to stitch at least 8 hours. I went to town with Vince and I think we were gone about three hours. I got salmon ready to smoke today and that took at least an hour (salt/rinse twice, take out to the fridge, pat dry, do it all again, leave it in the fridge uncovered, then cover it in brown sugar, take it back out to the fridge).
I fixed a fairly light dinner but then the kitchen had to be cleaned.
I talked to Chad and Nicole on the phone for 45 minutes.
And the Gift of Stitching magazines . . I couldn’t stop looking at those! That took a lot of time but I really enjoyed it.
All of the things I did were good things I needed to do . . except maybe the trip to town . . so every day there’s going to be something. I’ll just do what I can do when I can do it.

Stitches look great. Thanks for enabling, GOSM. I clicked to see what it was all about & before I knew it I’m now the proud owner of the whole set ?. Just from the advertising I saw there were Prairie Schooler & Lizzie Kate patterns. Of course now I’ll have to figure out how to access them. That will be for another day.

I’m not real sure I figured it out but I did figure out that I can “save as pdf” and save one issue or do “custom” and save pages 40 – 43 or whatever so that was helpful. Will I ever be able to go back and do that again? Who knows??
