The last time I had stitched on my Sunday Stitch was November 28, 2021. I didn’t stitch on it any during December. Here’s where I left off.

As you know, I totally missed Sunday so I had a make up day yesterday and will hopefully do better with my Sunday Stitches.

After many stops and starts, a trip to town, and a long nap, I stitched right at 4 hours, 48 minutes. I think I can do much better and my goal is going to be to stitch at least 6 hours every Sunday (every day if possible). In my head, it seems like stitched 8 hours should be easy enough but I’m betting it isn’t as easy as I think it will be.

I started with the C and stitched almost two whole rows . . through the V, then picked up on the bottom row, stitched the Z and part of the Y. I also stitched more on the right border down a bit farther.
Next Sunday (#2), I hope to stitch W, X and finish Y, then get the checkeboard border on the sides of that section stitched, stitch a plain “x” border, then do the next two rows which are a fairly easy looked lower case alphabet.
Eliza M. Stone is back in her project bag til Sunday.
