Raise your hand if you think I’m crazy! OK . . everyone! That’s what I was afraid you were thinking. 🙂
I told Vince . . I think I’ve cleaned more today than I have in all the time we’ve been here . . combined. He said “Yes, please stop!” By the way, he did go to put something in the trash. He did see the cord to one of the chewed up heating pads, even though I had strategically placed two more trash bags on top of it trying to hide it. He did take it out and dig around and found the other one and took it out and that’s all he admitted to taking out but, they are no longer in the breakfast room and you can bet he put them where I won’t find them so that’s good.
Anyway . . here’s where I was at 9 this morning on Elizabeth Eyles.
I’m so close to having that border meet in the middle (I hope) but I think I’m afraid it won’t. I could understand taking a nap, taking a hot bubble bath . . but cleaning?? I must be really worried about this border.
I did run a basting line a few threads below where I’m stitching and, at least both sides are on the same line. I’m working from both sides, thinking if I am off, it will be easier to make adjustments somewhere near the middle.
Would someone just come over and finish and then tell me it’s all going to be ok?
Angie, the former owner of this house is the world’s most immaculate housekeeper. I always say not only can you eat off her floor . . you could probably eat off her bathroom floor! I told Vince earlier . . the kitchen is close to being Angie clean. He said “Doubtful” but it does look a whole lot better than it did. Let’s just hope the repairman shows up as scheduled tomorrow because you can bet my kitchen won’t stay spic and span for long.
OK . . I’m going back to stitching. I’ll be back with news once the two sides come together.

While you are in this cleaning mood, could you please send some vibes my way? Talk about procrastinating! I do that all the time! I need to get some things done but as soon as I start Pat wants to do something. I stop what I am doing and do what he wants to do. He won’t be around forever and I want him to have happy memories. Maybe I am wrong, but I have years to clean this house. I may not have years with him.

The thing about the house, even though I am no cleaning expert, is that no matter how much time you spend, it just keeps getting messy again. No matter how good I dust, in a few days, I see dust again. Why bother? 🙂
I agree . . spend as much time with Pat and make as many memories as you can. Housekeeping can wait.
