Yesterday I didn’t get as much stitching done as I had hoped (I think we can just assume that will happen every day) but I did finish the left border and part of the right border so I’m a bit over halfway done with the borders.
Here’s where I left off Friday night.
Here’s where I left off last night.
I should not even try to guess what my day holds but if I have much time at all and can get as much done as I did yesterday, I’ll finish the borders today. I’m trying to keep my fingers crossed while I stitch that they’ll match up. I’m so ready to start stitching angels and flowers and a bird.

You’re almost all the way around! I started Flea Market Flowers yesterday and wasn’t able to spend as much time as I planned. I was thinking of just doing the border but I also wanted to do at least one flower (I got a couple of leave done). However I found the chart to be maddening. The grid lines marking off units of ten weren’t dark enough compared to the regular lines and it was so hard to keep track. Eventually I had to darken the lines with a pen. I didn’t realize how much I depend on those darkened lines to make counting easier. I don’t know if I will buy another pattern designed by her if that is the way her charts will be.

Why would they do that? It has to be so frustrating.
