If I look back and think about it, I know 2021 didn’t fly by as quickly as it seems right now but honestly, it isn’t going to be very long before it’s New Year’s again and we’re ready to usher in 2023. So . . let’s all work as hard as we want and do the things we want to get accomplished in 2022. We don’t have as much time as we think we do.
I’m always telling Vince that for people who are miserable, time seems to drag by. For those of us having fun, the time flies. Some days I get up and say “Let’s have a miserable day so the day will be longer and we can get more done!” We laugh but we rarely have miserable days. But you know what? I know that could change in a heartbeat . . literally. So, in 2023, I want to be happy, I want to spend as much time as I can with Chad, Nicole and Addie . . and, of course, Vince. I want to get a lot done. I want to have fun. I want to be a happy influence on others and help brighten the days of those I encounter.
My wish to all of you is that you have a safe, healthy and happy New Year and that you all have fun . . lots of fun doing whatever makes you happy.
As for me . . I’ve waited long enough and I’m going to start my New Year’s Start – Elizabeth Eyles. Boots is curled up on my lap, purring . . . I think he’s very thankful Addie is gone and no longer carrying him around or sitting nose to nose with him reading to him. I sure wish he’s stretch out in the chair beside me instead of on my lap but . . he’s a cat and he’s going to do whatever he wishes and not be very considerate of my wishes. 🙂
Again, Happy New Year to you all and the next time you hear from me, it will be 2022. 🙂

Praying God’s blessings upon blessings for you Judy, Vince, your family, and all your lovely follower-friends. Thank you for sharing your life with us, and teaching us so many things.
Tonight, I’m sewing 9-patch square donuts, and H’s for Haynes. Yesterday it morphed into D for Deacon, L for Lena, and C for Cassie, my grands who are in TN.
Hubby Terry has declared he’s retiring in 13 months. He bought a calendar with extra months and he’s begun crossing off the days. I’m hoping I can retire much sooner than that. I’m already getting people trained in how to do my responsibilities.

Happy New Year to you and Vince. You’re right about 2023 being here before we turn around twice. When I was much, much, much younger time seemed to go at a snails pace – vacations and holidays never seemed to get here. Now that I’m a way bit older and have the time to do all the things I didn’t have time to do when I was raising children and working time flies. There should be a way to reverse that whole process. LOL
I hope your 2022 is filled with good health, peace, joy and the time to do all the things you want to do.

I hope y’all can get back over here. I keep thinking I’ll plan a trip to your area to shop for cross stitch but I guess with my no buy pledge, that isn’t going to happen.
