This chart, For the Love of Nature, by Teresa Kogut, is one I could have worked on without stopping til it was finished. I love this chart.
I hope this is one of the first numbers called on WIPGO so I can get it back out and work on it some more.
The letters are stitched in Chestnut. I wanted to stitch the first letters of all our names in a different color – just a subtle change so I chose Polliwog for A for Addie, C for Chad, J for Judy, Ni for Nicole and haven’t gotten to V for Vince yet. I stopped in the middle of the Q because that’s where I ran out of thread.
I will be happy when I get to work on this one again.

I know you are sad at stopping, but I have to say I am excited to start the New Year Sampler. I am doing mine as a series of smalls starting with Santa.

Can’t wait to see the smalls. This chart is definitely a great one since the motifs can all be used as smalls.

I love your piece!! I started on For the Love of Nature on Monday and as I usually do, started in the center. I finished the tree and squirrel, a couple of flowers at the base of the tree. I’m now working on the deer (reindeer? elk?)…sadly I will put it away to start on my little Christmas small and then will have my New Year’s start too. I will surely put it on my WIPGO.
