Someone from the post office has been here three times today. First, around 9 a.m., a postal employee in a white van brought the box from FQS. Then the regular mail ran – they use their own vehicles for rural routes but that’s every day. Then later, a little mail truck from town dropped off the Owl Forest package. I think the neighbor had packages too so they didn’t come just for me. I’m not that special! 🙂
You may remember that I ordered the Christmas Birds chart on November 30. I wrote about it in this post. I bought the pdf of the chart so I had it immediately but I kept thinking about the floss. The designer dyes her own floss to get just the look she wants and, from what I’ve read, every LOVES her floss. The floss for the Christmas Birds chart was less than $10 USD. I was hesitant to order from Russia and have it sent to the U.S. but I figured . . what’s $10 and I knew many people order from her so I did it.
It arrived today so that was very fast considering it had to go through customs and with our holiday mail delays . . I’m impressed.
It’s in my cardinal bag – ready to be worked on but not on my 2022 list. I will put it on the “Alternate” list just in case I finish everything on my list.
All I need is more time!

Well, now it’s letting me comment. 🙂

It may be a very long list by the time we get towards the end of 2022. 🙂

Love this!! I keep checking the status of my cardinal order and it shows it cleared Chicago on 11 Dec but no updates since. This is unlike the last two orders so I guess it’s either stuck there or still moving..no clue!
