Yesterday I finished Addie’s Christmas pillow, which you know because that’s how I glued myself to the chair.
I’ve already given Addie a little wooden bowl but it’s at her house so I fixed up one for her room here. She’ll take home all the “stuff” but leave the bowl here when she goes home after the holidays.
I left off the snowflakes but I think this is the cutest little pillow and I love the red trim.

—So cute! I just bought some red mini pompom trim to finish a holiday pillow. The red trim you used really adds a bit of whimsy. I stitched “Comfort and Joy” (Luminous Fiber Arts pattern) and hope to have it made before the end of December. I’m going to stitch the trim into the pillow seams, as the pompoms are on a bias tape. Maybe I will glue baste first, but I’ll be careful not to get too attached to it 😉

I love Comfort & Joy. Was watching Misty’s flosstube last night and that’s one of the charts she showed. I’ve been tempted to get it but so far haven’t.

—It was a fairly quick one to stitch, I did it on 18 count Aida with DMC. It’s 85 stitches by 61, you could probably stitch it in less than a week 😉

That is so cute!! So sweet that you provided a bowl for Addie at your house too. I can’t help thinking about all the wonderful memories you are making for her.

That is so cute. I’m going to bookmark that for next year. The setting you’ve created is lovely.
