I said I wouldn’t . . but I might.
I removed myself from the two floss subscriptions I had with Colour & Cotton. I paid those monthly so it was easy to cancel those while I had the willpower to do it. My XJu Designs club membership will come due in February. I had said I wasn’t going to renew but her fabrics are some of my favorites.
This linen is the September Club selection. I’ve been thinking about writing the designer to see if I can order more of it. I love it! But, then I remembered . . no more linen. Even though it isn’t January 1, I just don’t need to do it.
Then today, the November Club selection arrived and I love it more than the September linen.
November is on the right (without the wrinkles!) and I love it more than the September linen.
Having these fabrics arrive once a month makes me happy. So long as I’m not buying other fabrics, staying in that club shouldn’t be a terrible thing to do, right? Maybe, if every time I’m tempted to buy linen, I’ll remind myself that I already made the concession to stay in the XJu Club, that will help me stay on track. We’ll see.

That is one of the reasons I decided to keep my one fabric subscription. It makes me so happy to get that little package in the mail. I think it will be enough to keep the fabric buying urge down, because I know I will always have some coming soon.

Thank you. I needed someone to tell me that. I love the floss subscriptions but it’s fairly easy to get floss if I’m persistent and pay attention. But I love the surprise of the linen colors.

Everyone needs something to look forward to once in a while. If it makes you happy and keeps you from shopping for linen every day, then you have my permission to keep the Xju fabric subscription active. Now who’s the enabler. LOL
