Yesterday the last of the project bags arrived. I had ordered these from Joyful Stitching Store on Etsy. I think I had mentioned a while back that I ordered two bags. The green star wars bag will always house a project for Addie. She loves Star Wars – especially Baby Yoda. I also ordered the pink one for my Sunday stitching project. My first Sunday Stitching project is pink so I’ll always remember pink bag = Sunday Stitching.
After I ordered those two, I wrote the Joyful Stitching lady and asked if she had any more Star Wars fabric (because I bought the last one she had listed at the time) and she sent me pictures of the fabric she had left. I knew when Addie saw my bag, she was going to want it . . for something! I also asked the lady if she had any cardinal fabric because I’ll probably always have a cardinal or some type of red bird project going. The school mascot here is the cardinal and these people take the cardinal thing seriously. By the way, our team did win the state championship for their class this year.
From Wikipedia: Its football team has won 15 Missouri state football championships, in the years 1989, 1992, 1993, 1997, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2019.
They didn’t win in 2020, but 2021 needs to be added to that list so they have a very good reason to be quite proud of the cardinals in this area.
Back to the bags – she did have cardinal fabric also so I asked her to hold the first two and make the two additional and send them to me all together.
Look at that adorable Yoda Christmas card. Addie is going to love that.
I think I’m all set on project bags for a while.
