Of course, I didn’t get as far as I had hoped yesterday. Here’s where I was when I stopped Friday night.

You can see that I had two motifs done. I had hoped to get all the way across the top border and at least some done on the right side border. Didn’t happen but I made great progress.

I love stitching on this piece. I love XJuDesigns linen. I love the colors. Friday I had two motifs done. Yesterday I got 11 motifs done, not counting the two pink hearts. If I can get 13 motifs done today, that will put me to the halfway point on the right side border. Then on Monday, I’m going to try to get halfway down the left border and that way, I can do the alphabet, then finish the right border, then finish the left border. I will go back in after it’s all done, or maybe when Addie is here for Christmas, and do the fill in work on the hearts . . stitching that doesn’t require counting and thinking.
This coming week, I won’t get as much stitching done as I usually do. Several things on the calendar but . . there is a life besides just stitching, right? Yes, and I’m thankful for the other things in my life!

Looking good! After you pulled this out and started working on it, I pulled out my copy to check if the Lugana I had would work and sadly it won’t. But, in any case I decided to go to the LNS tomorrow to get fabric and floss for it and start it…lol. I did decide I would check out the 32ct linen there too as I may do one of the Owl Forest stitches in that. Depends on what colors they have. I really want to start on the Hydrangea piece sometime soon.

So many things to start, so little time! 🙂
You make me jealous. I wish (though my husband doesn’t) that we had a LNS nearby.
