Yesterday afternoon I was having a phone conversation with a friendto a friend from far away. What is it with us old people that we always ask about the weather? She asked me what was the temp here? I didn’t know but I looked at Accuweather while talking to her and I saw a little snowflake in yesterday’s weather. I didn’t look to see if it was during the night or . . well, it was rather warm during the day – up in the 40’s, so I doubted we’d have much snow then. My mind wandered . . I want to build a snowman!
We didn’t get any real snow but I did almost finish a snowman!
Today I hope to finish the snowman, stitch the word “Merry” and I’d love to get the word “Christmas” stitched but . . that’s probably too much to ask.

The old people asking about the weather made me laugh. Every single time we speak with my MIL she asks us about the weather! lol Of course she lives in Florida and it doesn’t change as much as Utah. Years ago she was a snowbird, alternating from northern Illinois and Florida but now stays in Florida. I think she wants confirmation that living there is worth it…lol Now I’m going to confirm my old person status and say we’re expecting our first major snowstorm tomorrow into Friday….6 inches! They are great about clearing the roads and we need the moisture but I have no need to go out so I’ll stay home. Your December stitch is looking good! I really like that font.

I always loved seeing your quilts but I really enjoy seeing your cross stitch projects now. I saw a little cross stitch chicken chart that made me think of you and Addie. I guess it’s inspired by a video game called Stardew Valley but I don’t know anything about that. It says “I have to go My chickens need me” and it has a few chickens. a couple of chicks and some eggs. Here is a link to it if you want to see it: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1046684209/stardew-valley-inspired-my-chickens-need
