Here are the first five projects I have kitted:
- Noel Sampler
- Catharine Dickenson – 1810
- For Where Your Treasure Is
- A Saviour’s Praise
- Be Kind
I know this would not have taken me the entire day if (1) I had felt better and (2) I hadn’t taken a 5 hour nap! I needed that sleep and I may or may not be able to sleep tonight, probably depends a lot on whether I take cough medicine. Last night Vince sent me downstairs to sleep in the middle of the night. He doesn’t like sleeping in the basement and I love sleeping in there. It’s so dark and so quiet. I knew he needed to get a good night’s sleep before his test today but Thursday night he said my coughing didn’t wake him but last night it did. I told him I’d sleep downstairs again tonight and we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
So . . I’ll take a few charts downstairs with me and if I don’t sleep, I’ll get up and kit projects.
Here are today’s kits:
Noel Sampler –
This is for a WIPGO project.
The fabric is 40 count Cream & Sugar by Fiber on a Whim. The floss is Vikki Clayton’s Silk.
Catharine Dickenson – 1810
This is for a WIPGO project and I already have the frame.
The fabric is 32 count Picture This Plus and the color is Heroic. I will plan it so tha tI can be stitching over some of the red and blue splotches on the fabric.
For Where Your Treasure Is:
This is a WIPGO fabric and I already have the frame.
The fabric is 40 count Angel Hair lien by Weeks. The floss on the far left is one I had to substitute. It calls for Cinnabar, which I don’t have but Tennessee Red Clay will work just fine. it will be used in those larger flowers.
A Saviour’s Praise:
This is my Good Friday/Easter Start (April 15). The fabric is Prairie Grass by Seraphim. I’m using called for Anchor floss (first time) along with four called for overdyes.
This will be Sunday Stitch and it’s from the Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine.
I went downstairs and pulled the overdyed floss, then realized I had the silks already so I’ll use the silks. The fabric is 36 count Abecedarian by R & R.
