Can you believe today is December 1? Time flies. It seems like yesterday it was the end of June and I was saying “2021 is halfway over). In just 31 days, we’ll be celebrating the New Year. Hard to believe!
This time last year we were all hoping 2021 would be much better than 2020, mostly insofar as the pandemic was going. I suppose everyone has different view of how that has gone.
My word of the year for 2021 is “thankful” and I’ve tried to make an effort to be thankful and I’ve kept a “Thankful Journal”. I’ve been able to write in it every day – some days I write more than others. I liked keeping a journal and some of the words I’m thinking about for 2022 may not work so well for journaling about the word every day.
There are several words running around in my head that may be my word of the year for 2022.
I don’t have any major plans for December. Addie will be here December 17 and will probably spend most of the time here til January 5 or 6 . . whenever school starts back. I hope we’ll make decorated sugar cookies and fudge. Other than . . no real plans.
As I was in bed waiting to get up this morning, I was thinking back. The first thing that came to my mind about 2021 is how much I’ve fallen in love with cross stitching and I really have gotten more accomplished than I thought I would.
2021 isn’t quite over yet. Are there things you really wanted to do in 2021 and haven’t done? Do you think you can still get them done? If not, will you move them over to your plans for 2022 or forget about them?
