Last night I dreamed that we had a huge Thanksgiving family get together. Don’t ask me where the “family” came from but I had finished “that project” and it was framed and in the dining room. Everyone was going on and on about how beautiful it was and someone called the Kansas City Star and a reporter came to take pictures and ended up staying for lunch.
Good grief. I never dream and if I do, I don’t remember my dreams. When I woke up, I kinda halfway expected to see the finished piece, framed and on the dining room wall but . . it wasn’t there. 🙁
I had already pulled Noel Sampler out last night and I was going to start working on that but decided the dream was a sign to finish the other one or, at least try a little longer.
I’m going back to my plan of doing the big things, just doing enough to be able to see where the spacing for borders should be and then I can decide what to do about the border designs/placement. There are mistakes in both the left and bottom border but I’m not seeing one in the right side border. One out of four appears to have no mistakes – why am I complaining? 🙂
The plan for today is to stitch enough of the bunting to be able to see where the plain inner border should be. Once I have that info, I can draft and chart the corners for the outer borders.
I do believe that giving up would make me a quitter and I am not a quitter so .. I’ll keep going for now.
