Several weeks ago I came across a new to me linen dyer. I think she’s been dying for a while but just started doing floss tube. It’s Needle and Flax. I was kinda lucky because I came across her floss tube, went and ordered my fabric and not long afterwards, one of the more popular floss tubers received her fabric, mentioned the site and I think she got bombarded with orders.
Not only does her fabric feel really nice but she tells a story about how she came up with each color. She’s a history nerd so some of the stories are interesting to read.
I didn’t realize the plastic would block the view of the color and I’ve already taken it all downstairs and . . well, I’m too lazy to go back down right now.
The top row, left to right: Que Sera and Ticonderoga. The bottom row, left to right, Pemberley, Dirty Teacup and Newport Beach.
About 10 days after the first order, I ordered Nirvana, Green Acres and Dolley Madison.
All of it – what arrived and what’s still on order is all 40 count.
I feel like I should start a new project just to be able to try out a piece of it. 🙂
