This morning the local Target opened at 7 a.m. The local news had a video on Facebook before the store opened and the line was all the way around the corner on the long side of the front.
It was 24 degrees last night so probably still well below freezing at 6:45 when the news was there. I didn’t listen to the video – just looked at the pictures but I’m wondering if people spent the night there.
Vince and I have been talking about that all day! We’re officially old and one of us is mostly not into shopping any more. We also aren’t into the hottest gadgets and electronics but I can’t think of a single thing we need for ourselves or anyone else that would have us waiting in line ever, especially on a freezing cold morning.
You have to admire the dedication of people who will go out and wait in line for a bargain or something in short supply.
So . . who went out and shopped today? Was it crowded? Were the shelves stocked adequately? Was the traffic a nightmare? Were people courteous and friendly (shoppers and store employees)? Did you find what you were looking for?
