When I first started thinking about project bags, I decided I could make my own. I bought the vinyl and the interfacting Vonna uses. I had long zippers from another crazy idea I had years ago and there’s tons of fabric here. I started making one bag and said NO! I would pay whatever price someone else wants for these bags . . not doing it myself. Of course, if I were needing or wanting 100 bags, I might have to make my own but for now, the few that I have or have ordered are worth buying and not having to make myself.
Anyway . . I mentioned that I wanted a pink bag because “Sunday Stitches = pink”. That is stuck in my head and if it makes it easier for me to remember what’s in which bag, then a pink bag it will be. I had looked at DotDotGoose’s etsy store to see if she had any pink bags but she didn’t. I wrote her a few days ago and haven’t heard back yet. I remembered that Sheri at Colorado Cross Stitcher has had bags from a bag lady on her (Sheri’s) floss tubes. The lady, who I now know to be Debbra from Joyful Stitching Store on Etsy, has donated bags as give aways on Sheri’s floss tube so I would love to support those who support the flosstubes I like.
I went to Debbra’s Etsy shop and found this bag.
It’s more like Valentine’s Day maybe but it’s pink and it’s pretty so I’m fine with it. Got that one ordered. Then I saw this one.
Addie loves Baby Yoda. I saw this bag so I ordered it for Addie. I’m sure she’ll find something she can use it for.
Then, I wrote the lady and asked her if she had any cardinal fabric and possibly did she have any more Star Wars fabric because if I keep the projects that I’m working on for Addie in the Star Wars bag, I’ll always know that bag has Addie’s project in it. Yes. She had more Star Wars fabric and she had enough cardinal fabric for ONE more bag.
She had several Star Wars fabric and she sent me pictures. I chose this one and I think I’ll wrap it up for Addie for Christmas but I’ll let her pick between the two Star Wars bag. Which ever one she doesn’t want, I’ll keep for myself.
So, I’ll have Star Wars (Addie Project), Pink (Sunday Stitches), Cardinal (Red Bird projects) coming for myself and one Star Wars bag for Addie.
Debbra at Joyful Stitches has been so nice to send me pictures of the fabrics. I shouldn’t need any more bags any time soon but if I do, she’s going to be my go to bag lady.

I love those baby Yoda fabrics! In fact I have that same fabric you chose for your second one. I used it as the inner lining of a mask I made for myself. I still have a bit left so I will have to think about what I’ll do with it.
