It was almost 10 p.m. when I finished this last night. We were busy all morning and I figured by noon I’d be stitching and then we went in the basement and worked a bit in there. We had ordered a bunch of food grade buckets and I have bags of rice and flour and sugar that need to be poured into those buckets and Gamma Seal lids put on them. I wanted to wash the buckets before using them so I took another bucket and made hot, soapy water, brought that bucket downstairs and washed all the buckets, then took them outside, rinsed them off, left them in the sun to dry. By the time I was done washing them, I was wet so I came upstairs and took a shower.
Then I was able to stitch a few minutes but we ate dinner between the race Vince wanted to watch and the Chiefs football game so it was only after the kitchen was cleaned from dinner that I was able to really start stitching.
I will press it and get a better picture before noon.
I started this on October 3 and finished it on November 7. It was a total of 13,889. According to my Book of Days, I didn’t make a stitch on this one7 days in there – 3 Sundays and 4 days when Addie was here so I’m going to say I stitched for 29 days. That’s an average of right at 479 stitches. I’m so happy with that number.
OK . . remember I’ll post a better picture later. PLEASE . . if you see anything I forgot to stitch, let me know.
I am so happy with this. So, so happy!
As I expected, the app thought I was in the 66% range when I was actually 100% finished but it counts every square, not just the ones with the stitching.
I stitched 245 stitches today. That’s what it took to finish it. I had guessed it would take about 200.
All the needles are out of the chair arm and in my little needle book. I’ll pull all the threads out later, return the leftover floss to the floss storage area and be ready to move on.

I did and am so happy to have it done. Plus, it proved to me that I can do it when I put my mind to it.
