It’s Sunday so that means I can put aside Love Your Family for the day and work on my Sunday Stitch, Eliza M. Stone 1881. When I stopped stitching last night, I put Love Your Family and the floss back in its project bag. It’s just 24 hours til I start working on it again but I know how I am and I could easily lose it between now and Monday!
I doubt we have any kids for Halloween. The neighbors with the two little boys might come but I doubt it. Vince was in charge of Halloween candy. He bought pretzels in snack size bags, which was good and that’s something we can keep in the car for snacks, and he bought a huge bag of gummi stuff. Some sour, some sweet. Not my favorite but I’m not much of a candy eater. I think he felt bad and brought home a bag of small Almond Joys. Yes . . I’ll eat one of those yummy treats every day .. sometimes twice a day til they’re gone.
Last night I told Vince . . I worked really hard getting the dog food made, the canning done, fresh bread made . . we’re having cereal for breakfast and pizza that we will either order and have delivered or he will go pick up. I’m fine ordering it and having it delivered. He’d rather go pick it up so . . whatever works for him is good for me so long as I’m not cooking.
I’m looking forward to listening to floss tubes and stitching. Let’s home things go according to my plan!
