Oh, my goodness. It’s 50 degrees outside, feels like 40. There’s a north wind blowing and I’ll admit that I would not want to be sitting outside long in this weather.
Vince was out of cream for his coffee. I needed to mail something that had to be done at the post office. We had already tried a smaller post office and sending something international was not happening there! So I went with him. Got the package mailed and then we went to Walmart. I said “I’m staying in the car!” Vince said “Ahh .. it’s too cold for you outside!” I said “No! I don’t want Covid and I don’t need anything from Walmart!” But, the parking lot was full and he had to park way out and I was happy to sit in the cold car rather than be in the cold wind.
On the way home, Vince said “I’m moving south. I’ll come visit you in the summer!” Hmmm . . I think that’s kinda how we did things last winter and he didn’t escape the cold. Remember . . no power in Texas for four or five days?
I still have to go out to get a hair cut. Vince said “Are you really going out in this weather?” 50 degrees, overcast but not raining. Not snowing. No ice. What is he going to do when it’s zero degrees out there? I can only hope . . stay home!!

It’s all relative. We don’t like going out when it gets to -40c
