I’m not trying to be an enabler but I wanted to share this info with you. Some days I think I would love to go to a retreat and some days I think . . I could use that same amount of money and get more bang for my buck.
I saw that Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher Magazine is hosting two retreats. One is in 2022 in VA and one is in May, 2023 in Kansas City. So far, there’s limited information available. They have a Facebook group – PNPS Magazine Stitch-Away Retreats.
I’m so impresed with the magazine and they have great artists who have projects in every issue so I’m thinking some of those might be the instructors.
I know I would have more fun if some of y’all would go to the one in Kansas City. Just saying . .
Just checked and I’m able to access the Christmas, 2021 issue online. I know what I’ll be doing for the next hour or so. Love this magazine.

Thanks to you I subscribed to the magazine and just finished a cross stitch in the fall issue called Be Kind. I too really like this publication!

I love it. I had the digital subscription but could only see one previous year’s issues so I “upgraded” to a print edition and can now see all the old issues. So worth the extra $$. In fact, there were probably at least a dozen charts in the magazines that I’ve purchaed. Should have subscribed to the print issue and had access to all the old issues from the beginning.

I get the print version and thoroughly enjoyed looking through past additions. Well worth the price

2023 in Kansas City sounds interesting … I’ll be retired then! What month is the one in Virginia? I tried to look it up but didn’t see anything.

I thought about going to the KC retreat….

As we get more info, we can discuss it more. I’m probably three hours from the KC airport so that’s very driveable – especially in May when there shouldn’t be snow but .. who knows these days what might happen.

I just subscribed to the print edition. Looking forward to receiving it and looking at past copies online! Retreat sounds fun. I’ve been to quilt retreats and always enjoyed them. I will have to see the details when I have access and also figure out what our plan is next year when my husband retires. I saw that my local cross stitch shop does a retreat too so I may look into that when they start back up.
