Yesterday the Elizabeth Eyles 1799 chart arrived. This will be my January 1 start and it’s a stitch along but I’m sure I’ll be the last to finish. I put it in a project bag, along with the Victoria Clayton floss and as I was filing it in alphabetical order with my charts to be stitched, almost every single chart I came across, I said to myself . . I want to stitch this next.
I had a list started for projects I want to start on certain important days in 2022 so I finished the list with the charts I pulled out this morning that I’d really like to stitch. You know . . I’ll get so far from this list during 2022 but I love making lists.
Birthday Starts:
Vince – Forever and Ever by Brenda Gervais (this chart is kinda hard to find right now)
Me – Little Red Chair
Nicole – Grateful, Thankful, Blessed (and I am to have her for a daughter-in-law)
Addie – Walk Beside
Chad – For the Love of Nature
Other Important Dates:
January 1 – Elizabeth Eyles
February 12 – Lincoln’s Birthday – Honest Abe
February 14 – I’d like to do a Valetine’s Day Start but am not.
April 15 – Good Friday – A Saviour’s Praise
July 4 – American House Sampler
August 1 – (Anniversary) – A Plump Wife
November 24 (Thanksgiving) – First Thanksgiving
That’s 11 starts. Most of them are large but I stitch faster now .. unless you count the past few days! 🙂
I’ll probably throw in a few pillows or small stuff for Addie and work on a few UFOs but . . that’s my plan for 2022 stitching. Let’s see how well I do with it. All of these are projects I really want to stitch so I’m telling myself . . if I want to start something else, then I have to drop one of the listed projects. I can’t see me agreeing to do that but . . I can be impulsive and make bad choices! 🙂
Anyway . . what started this was seeing so many charts I already have that I want to stitch. I’m hoping having this list will help me not buy so many new ones but . . time will tell.

I noticed your new sidebar list, good idea to keep it up front. I just got a newsletter from Luminous Fiber Arts, lots of cute pillows/smalls. The Catty-cane one is a companion to the Cat-o-Lantern one you made recently. https://www.luminousfiberarts.com I like the blue snowman and the comfort and joy ones.

Yes, I love starting new projects but I have to really work to keep myself on track to finish things.
