None of these are custom frames but they should work for some of my cross stitch pieces. All these frames cost $22 because today was senior citizen discount day. There are advantages to being old! 🙂
The open area on this one is 9.25 x 19″. The white on the bottom left is residue from the sticker, which has now been removed.
This one is 11 x 11.5″. I really like this frame. I would have loved to have this frame for Love Your Family but it’s not quite wide enough.
I like this picture, as well as the frame. I may be tempted to keep it as it is. The open area is 7.25 x 9.25″.
This one is 19.5 x 11.5″.
It’s really hard to end up with a ready made frame that’s perfect for a cross stitch piece unless (1) Vince can cut the frames down and he can but Vince has a lot of his own stuff going on. Maybe once the shop is set up, he will have the time to cut down a frame or two every now and then. Or, maybe I’ll explain to him that the frame I ordered was $50 but maybe next time, he could cut down a $4 frame and make it work. I’m betting that would change his mind. (2) If I know ahead of time which frame I want to use, I can make adjustments to the chart. Motifs can be added or removed. Fairly simple borders or dividers can be added or removed.
I’m keeping a list of frames and their sizes so when I start new charts, I check to see if there’s a frame that might work with a little modification to the chart, and if so, I can chart out the changes, or simply make a list of what I need to change.

It is. Vince said he loves it too so I think we’ll find a place for it and keep it with the frame.

Actually that one is all printed to look like a double mat. I don’t keep the mats or the glass so all I wanted was the frame.
