I started this project on the evening of October 3 so this evening, I will have been working on it one week. As of where I am right now, the program says I’m 18% done and since that includes non-stitched areas, I’m adding about 10% back so I think I’m 20% done. If I could speed it up a little, I’d finish this by the end of the month. If not, I have til December 1 to get it finished.

I pressed it before taking the picture.
As I had written before, I wanted to get the grassy lawn and the hill stitched – at least the bottom all the way over the right edge so I can measure it for a frame and get that ordered.
Maybe today I’ll use basting thread and marke off the edges where I want the frame to fit and then I can get the frame ordered early this coming week. There’s a whole lot of stitching on the grassy lawn and hill, but I’ll still have to count because there will be words. I want to stitch the grass first, then the words so it will look like the words are on top of the grass. Filling in the house and windows should be a piece of cake.
Even though there’s 80% more to be stitched . . and that’s a lot, it’s a fairly easy stitch without too many stops and starts for color changes.
