Yesterday in Review – October 9, 2021

You already know what the construction/dirt work guys did here yesterday.

Vince had gone to town to get grass seed and straw and on the way back, he passed by a garage sale. Of course, he stopped. They had some bicycles for sale. He and I have talked about getting bikes so he came home and wanted me to go back with him. I did and we ended up getting the bikes. We’ll see what happens with those! There are a lot of bike/walking trails around here but to me, they look scary. They all go through woods and there have been some incidents on them. I told Vince I’m not riding the trails so I’m not sure where we would ride but we’ll see.

I got my flu shot Thursday mid-day and yesterday didn’t feel so great. I had a bit of fever – not really feeling terrible but not feeling great. I ended up taking a nap for a couple of hours. I’ll survive and hopefully not get the flu.

Additions:

Nothing! I should start counting days that I haven’t ordered cross stitching supplies – but I’m not going to.

Cooking:

Nothing! Vince came in about 1 p.m. and said “What’s for lunch?” I already wasn’t feeling great and I said “Whatever you’re fixing!” which meant we went out and got Mexican.

Videos I Watched:

911 Stitcher – #75. I like that she always has a list of stitch alongs, and other things that are time sensitive. The video was about 10 days old so I missed some things that I might would have participated in but most of the things I would have joined would just add UFOs to my list so . . skip that idea.

Stitching:

I got Addie’s pillow finished and worked more on Love Your Family. I had told Teresa Kogut that I would get down to the grass, stitch a few rows and let her see that so she could decide if she wanted to continue with 3013 or go darker.

She likes the 3013 (bottom left) so I got busy getting more of that stitched. I had worked on the house while waiting to hear back from her.

Yesterday between the nap and making Addie’s pillow, I didn’t get 536 stitches done. It was after 10:30 p.m. when I hit 450 and that was too late to start knitting so I stitched a bit more before going to bed. Today, with Addie’s game, I may not reach 450. I won’t always have 450 stitches as my goal per day. I just need to get this done since someone is counting on having it completely finished by December 1.

Plans for Today:

Addie’s last game is today so I’ll run down to her town to watch her game, give her the pillow and other Halloween decorations I have for her.

Hopefully I’ll get some stitching done at some point today.
