Yesterday was busy! Vince did the tile grouting. Afterwards, I scrubbed the countertops, mopped the kitchen. Then after the grout dried, Vince started wiping it down so I scrubbed the countertops and mopped the kitchen again! Today (I think), he’s going to seal the grout so I might get to scrub the countertops and mop the kitchen again. I’m not complaining. the backsplash looks amazing.
Vince has been wanting me to get my flu shot so after he was done and we were finished cleaning, he said “There’s no one working outside so let’s go get your flu shot and grab something to eat out. We decided we could eat at Logan’s and we had gift cards for there but, since I was being brave by going out into the scary world, I said “Let’s go by JoAnn and I can get some floss I need” so we did that too.
Additions:
Just the floss I got at JoAnn for a project I want to stitch (A Saviour’s Praise).
Cooking:
Just the breakfast I cooked outside yesterday morning.
Videos I Watched:
None.
Stitching:
Not much.
Plans for Today:
I absolutely have to make Addie’s pillow today. I’ll see her tomorrow!
The rest of the time, I’ll probably be cross stitching, til I get my 450 stitches done and then I can knit.

That’s a beautiful chart! I was tempted but I’m not ready to be stitching all those little bits with color changes and I have too many that I want to start here. I was surprised at the thread on spools! I didn’t know floss came that way!

The thread on spools is recent – Anchor used to have their floss on skeins similar to DMC. Not sure how it’s cost effective because the spools have to cost more than the little paper tabs on the skeins but . . what do I know.
You realize buying a chart and floss is way different from stitching it, right? LOL . . especially for me. That chart will take me years to finish but it’s one of the first charts I saw when I went back to cross stitching and, like you, I felt it was too hard for me but purchased it just to have it. We’ll see if it ever gets stitched.

Can you show the spool that the floss came on? The brand name? By thread or floss? I need some and the only places to shop are Joann orWalmart. Thanks so much!

If you’re asking about the Anchor floss, there’s a picture of the chart in the post and the thread spools are lined up along the sides. It’s Anchor – same as used to be on the skein but now on spool. JoAnn has several brands of floss and the JoAnn here was very well stocked.

Such a beautiful chart! Will you do this on the 40 ct?
judy.blog@gmail.com says
Probably 40. I mostly use 36 but, depending on the finished size, I may do 40. I haven’t even plugged the numbers in yet to see how big it will be.
